A prestigious location
Villa Marchetti, a newly renovated historic building with a range of spaces on two floors, is an ideal venue for meetings, conferences, seminars, company events, conventions and training courses.
The oldest section of Villa Marchetti dates back to about the eighteenth century, while further additions were made in the early nineteenth century.
The villa was restored by ACIMAC (Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association) whose headquarters now occupies part of the building. The sober conversion project added highly functional modern amenities to the old luxury residence.
Villa Marchetti is located in the village of Baggiovara just outside Modena, a few hundred metres from the new hospital. It can be easily reached either from Via Giardini or from the Modena-Sassuolo dual carriageway.
Villa Marchetti offers beautifully decorated, frescoed rooms of various sizes and seating capacities (from 10 to 80 seats). The rooms are comfortable and are fully equipped to host a range of events and meetings.
Services and Events
The Villa Marchetti staff can provide accessory services to support conference activities, including a reception and cloakroom.
Spaces for buffets and coffee breaks are also available, along with a fully-equipped kitchen.
The conference rooms are equipped with video projectors, overhead projectors, flipcharts, audiovisual equipment, voice recording equipment and projectors for DVDs, VCR and video cameras.
Some rooms are also equipped with 50-inch video screens connected in a closed circuit to allow video conferences to be held across several different rooms.
The villa is set in splendid grounds and has more than 40 parking spaces protected by an automatic gate. Additional parking (about a hundred spaces) is available in Via Fossa Buracchione and nearby streets.
